Vitalys Mushlock, EA - Accountant
Hello, I have been an accountant for over 30 years. In 2000 I started working for Matthews & Associates in Kent City. After the previous owner retired, I purchased the business in 2007. I am an enrolled agent, and I can help you with everything from tax preparation to IRS or State of Michigan resolution.
Dan Mushlock, EA - Accountant
I have been part of the Mushlock & Associates team since graduating from GVSU in 2005, where I earned a double major in Accounting and Marketing. In the beginning I worked primarily on financial statement preparation, payroll processing, and tax preparation. As Mushlock & Associates has grown, along with my knowledge base, I have shifted into a predominantly advisory role. My days are filled with reviewing and assisting with financial statements and tax preparation, business planning and consulting, corporate and individual tax planning, and tax resolution. I especially enjoy working with small business owners.
Duane Bowen, EA - Accountant
I have been working at Mushlock & Associates since 2018. My main roles include, preparing tax returns, payroll tasks, and monthly P&L statements. I have a wonderful wife, and 3 amazing children. I have lived in the West Michigan area my entire life and am proud to call it home, even if it gets a little cold for my liking at a certain time of the year.
Robert Rexford - IT Director
I am the IT Coordinator for Mushlock & Associates. I have been working in IT for 9 years, but I am relatively new to the M&A team, joining in June 2020. You may see some communications from me related to tax preparation, and I will be your resource for setting up our new Client Portal, which is a tool we will use to help deliver documents to you, as well as request information.
Sarah Shaw - Office Manager
Hello! I joined the Mushlock & Associates’ team this spring and look forward to meeting you all. I have over 20 years of administrative experience and previous experience working in a tax firm. I will be the voice on the phone that helps you get your questions answered and appointments scheduled for any of your tax and financial needs. You can meet me in the Kent City office year-round. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my pup and nieces, gardening and reading.
